Job Details

Vaco is looking for a versatile Software Engineer to support finance-related service teams through the design, development, and deployment of modern software solutions. While the primary focus is on core engineering tasks across web applications and integrations, you will be heavily involved with Flowable (BPMN/DMN Modeling) and working with the business to enhance and develop processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in establishing business processes with Flowable and have a problem-solving mindset, with the ability to pivot across technologies in an Agile environment.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects
  • Extensive experience enhancing business processes w/ Flowable (BPMN/DMN).
  • Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data
  • Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems
  • Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications
  • Implement system software and customize to client requirements
  • Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans
  • Code new programs to clients specifications and create test data for testing
  • Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs
  • Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation
  • Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing
Position Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of professional engineering experience
  • Flowable Experience (BPMN/DMN Modeling) – MUST HAVE
  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Node.js
  • API and Database integration experience
  • Docker/Kubernetes
  • CI/CD Pipeline development
  • C# experience is a plus but not required.
  • Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design large systems software design and development experience
