Azure Cloud Architect NYC International Law Firm

A leading international law firm is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to design and deploy secure, scalable, and resilient Azure-based solutions aligned with compliance, risk, and operational goals. This role collaborates across IT, Security, Compliance, and Governance teams to ensure cloud environments meet industry and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect Azure solutions and develop automation scripts for consistent deployments.

  • Define and implement tagging, IAM, cost controls, and policy enforcement.

  • Partner with infrastructure, app owners, and security teams for cloud migrations and operations.

  • Support incident response, audits, and investigations involving cloud assets.

  • Continuously evaluate and implement new Azure tools and services for optimization.

  • Enforce security best practices and compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Deep experience in Azure services (networking, identity, compute, storage).

  • Proficient in PowerShell, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and DevOps pipelines.

  • Experience in secure, regulated environments.

  • 7+ years in IT/cloud, with 4+ years in Azure architecture.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP).

Salary Range: $155,000 $200,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
