Lead NOC/Network Engineer
Phoenix, AZ

Job Duties:

  • Lead and mentor L2 network engineers; provide escalation support, RCA, and preventive measures.
  • Oversee 24/7 network and security infrastructure monitoring to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs; ensure adherence to ITIL processes.
  • Coordinate with L1, L3, security, and infrastructure teams for smooth operations.
  • Lead network improvement projects, migrations, and new deployments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
  • Manage vendor coordination for maintenance, upgrades, and SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and support LAN, WAN, VLANs, Firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Wireless, and cloud networks (AWS, Azure).
  • Configure, maintain, and upgrade SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst 9300, Cisco FTD/Palo Alto firewalls, Infoblox, and F5 load balancers.
  • Implement network security policies (VPNs, ACLs, firewall rules) and address vulnerabilities.
  • Support Disaster Recovery and automated health checks for network availability.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years experience in network administration, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and switching solutions.
  • Hands-on with Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Meraki MX, Azure firewalls, F5 LTM, and SD-WAN (Viptela, Meraki, Catalyst Center).
  • Experience with Infoblox DDI, AWS/Azure networking, and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, NetBrain, Wireshark).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform).
  • Exposure to VoIP, QoS, and multicast networking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
  • Certifications: CCNA (mandatory), CCNP (preferred), plus relevant vendor/networking certifications.
