Data Privacy Coordinator
Hybrid, Los Angeles, CA or Remote
6 months with possible extension

Position Overview:
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Privacy Coordinator on a contract basis. This role is essential to enabling compliance with data privacy regulations and will focus on privacy assessment coordination, documentation and progress tracking in support of multiple Global Privacy program efforts.
- Privacy Program Support: Provide coordination on key documents, including document creation, data entry, and maintaining records. Examples include Pre-DPIAs, DPIAs, DPIA inventory, task & action item log, managing workflow and triaging of shared Outlook inbox items, following up on required training completion (E.g., GDPR training via Workday).
- Meeting Facilitation: Partner with stakeholders and executive assistants to schedule and manage meetings, prepare agendas and documentation, and track follow-ups to ensure accountability and momentum.
- Monitor action-items / tasks: Monitor SharePoint and inbox for incoming requests (E.g., Vendor risk assessments, consulting requests) and escalate/assign out to team members accordingly. Follow-up on timely status and completion.
- Document and complete correspondence: Produce general correspondence, reports, and presentations. May compile summary notes and action items from meetings. Develop appropriate format and check for grammar punctuation, and spelling to ensure highest quality of output.
- Create and maintain lists, files and databases to enhance efficiency and productivity: Organize and maintain information that may be sensitive, confidential or technical in nature. Audit records for discrepancies and reconciles issues as appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve work processes: Implement process improvements to enhance workflow and balance department load.
Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and able to maintain momentum on projects by effectively communicating progress and outcomes.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a coordination or administrative role, within data privacy domain helpful
- Familiarity with global data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant laws
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications with expertise in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, and SharePoint
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new information, processes, and environments
- Drives actions to achieve results
- Thrives in ambiguous situations, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills to navigate uncertainty
