About the Role:
As a Software Engineer on a contingent assignment, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions. You'll work on moderately complex engineering challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support large-scale initiatives. Your work will help drive innovation and ensure the reliability and performance of critical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the planning and execution of software engineering projects with moderate complexity.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and engineering teams to meet project goals and compliance requirements.
- Apply best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent experience through work, consulting, military service, or education.
- Proficiency in Java and experience building Microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration.
- Front-end development experience with ReactJS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
