Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Azure Kubernetes Services Specialist to join their team. This role requires a deep technical proficiency in Kubernetes and Azure technologies to support and enhance our client's digital infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Ingress objects, upgrading Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and implementing robust monitoring solutions. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the upgrade processes of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) ensuring high availability and minimal service disruption.
  • Manage Kubernetes Ingress objects efficiently to route traffic and manage external access to the services within a cluster.
  • Implement and maintain Helm charts for managing Kubernetes applications, streamlining the deployment processes and configurations.
  • Develop and oversee Azure infrastructure components such as Azure CLI, Private Link, Disk and File Storage, and Azure Keyvault.
  • Configure and manage Azure Private DNS, User Defined Routes (UDRs), and Azure Firewall for enhanced security.
  • Establish robust logging and monitoring solutions using Log Analytics Workspace (LAW) and Application Insights to ensure optimal performance.
  • Scripting and automation using Bash to streamline system tasks and deployments.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and technical guidance in Kubernetes and cloud environments, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and understanding of AKS control plane and NodeOS.
  • Strong proficiency in using Helm and yaml for application deployments and management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Azure technologies, including but not limited to Azure CLI, Azure Keyvault, and Azure Private DNS.
  • Experience with network configuration and management tools such as Azure Firewall and User Defined Routes (UDRs).
  • Skilled in implementing and managing monitoring solutions using tools like Log Analytics Workspace (LAW) and Application Insights.
  • Competency in scripting languages such as Bash, and familiarity with Linux OS environments.
  • Understanding of programming and scripting with Java, .NET, Python, C#, or Angular is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues within Kubernetes and cloud-based environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
