Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Findlay, Ohio. This Contract-to-permanent role involves supporting various business functions by providing accurate and timely data insights to drive decision-making and operational success. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
Responsibilities:
Identify and utilize appropriate data sources to enhance data collection, reporting, and analysis processes.
Develop and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) tools, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collect and document customer requirements to design and deliver tailored reports and solutions.
Validate data accuracy and generate ad hoc reports to meet business needs.
Analyze and model data using statistical tools, supporting database maintenance and development activities.
Translate business needs into measurable requirements for system and application development.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define specifications and recommend effective business solutions.
Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions meet strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Lead cross-functional teams to address business challenges, including user experience and process improvements.
Develop and deliver training materials to support the adoption of best practices and new systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent certifications.
2-5 years of experience working with data and statistical analysis tools such as Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, and Power Query.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, including Datastage ETL.
Strong understanding of business functions such as marketing, sales, operations, and financial planning.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated project management skills with a focus on meeting critical deadlines and achieving objectives.
