Guardium Engineer

Job Title: Guardium Engineer (IT Security Specialist)
Location: Addison, TX (On-site)
Duration: 18-month contract
Pay Range: $65- $70/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Guardium Engineer to join a dynamic cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing the enterprise Guardium environment to support regulatory compliance and secure data activity monitoring across a large infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the Guardium v12 environment, ensuring system stability and compliance.


• Deploy and configure GIM (Guardium Installation Manager) and STAP agents across various platforms.


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to agent connectivity, performance, and functionality.


• Perform digital certificate management, including renewals and updates for Guardium appliances and agents.


• Apply regular security patches and software updates to maintain a secure and compliant system.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance monitoring capabilities and optimize performance.


• Create documentation and reports related to system changes, configurations, and incidents.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in administering and supporting Guardium environments, especially Guardium v12.


• In-depth knowledge of GIM and STAP deployment and troubleshooting.


• Proficiency in digital certificate management and patching processes.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


• Experience with SQL and working across multiple database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.).
