Senior Oracle Developer

About your role:
You will play a crucial role in our mission to streamline financial services through technology. This role is integral to designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated database structures and processes. Whether working independently or collaborating with cross-functional teams, a successful Senior Oracle Developer ensures our solutions are efficient, secure, and align perfectly with the dynamic needs of our clients in the financial sector.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new schemas, tables, procedures, and scheduling in Oracle.
• Automate data loads end to end, including scripting on AIX/Linux.
• Develop and integrate software applications using suitable development methodologies and standards.
• Apply standard architectural patterns and ensure critical performance characteristics and security measures.
• Resolve customer complaints with data and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Assist or lead in the development of integration technical documentation.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 7+ years of Oracle development experience.
• 7+ years of scripting experience on AIX/Linux.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL.
• Experience with database schema, object management, data modeling & architecture.
• Extensive working knowledge of Unix/Linux/AIX and Shell script.
• Proficient in source-code control using any tool available in the market.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

• Experience working in an onshore-offshore model.
• Experience working in the Finance/Banking industry.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, tools, and processes.

Salary Range:

$87,200.00-$121,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
