About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the equipment, processes, and challenges on our shop floor. This isn't a desk-only role we need a sharp, driven, and curious individual ready to make a direct impact from Day 1.
If you enjoy solving real-world production issues, talking to operators, sketching up ideas, and finding better ways to get things done-this is the place for you.
What You'll Do:
Be a daily presence on the shop floor-investigate, question, troubleshoot
Work side-by-side with operators and supervisors to gather feedback and dig into problems
Perform root cause analysis and implement effective, lasting solutions
Collaborate with vendors for equipment, tooling, and improvement projects
Draft sketches and work with CAD to design improvements, layouts, and jigs/fixtures
Analyze production flow, identify bottlenecks, and propose process optimizations
Lead or assist in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Support new equipment installations, modifications, and process validations
Own your projects from concept through implementation-no handoffs
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
Strong mechanical aptitude; must be comfortable working around equipment
Problem-solver mindset with a proactive, "go get it done" attitude
Ability to work independently and communicate across teams
Experience with lean tools, CAD software, and vendor management is a plus
Comfortable walking the floor, talking to people, and making things better
