Description

We are in search of a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to be based in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. This critical role will involve leading our technology, reporting and BI teams, and identifying opportunities to maximize impact for our clients in the healthcare industry. The role entails a blend of technical and business skills, requiring innovative solutions for both internal system problems and external customer-related opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Managing data intake from clients for processing by our systems for reporting and use by our operations team.
Overseeing the delivery of KPI reporting for internal use and client-facing reports.
Analyzing reporting analytics regarding client performance and refining these reports in close collaboration with Operations leadership.
Identifying, recommending, and implementing opportunities for advancing our reporting and analysis capabilities.
Exploring the potential benefits of AI to our organization's performance.
Providing additional support to users when needed.
Managing internally developed applications.
Employing extensive knowledge of Healthcare data and familiarity with EMRs such as ECW, NextGen, Athena, Intergy, Epic, Cerner, and Meditech Expanse.
Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills, logical approach, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills.
Utilizing experience with advanced SQL Coding and building API.
Leveraging Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI).
Displaying reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail in managing urgent and critical production issues.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant role or similar.
Proficiency in SSIS SSRS, SSRS, SSRS - SQL Server Reporting Services, and SSRS Reports is required.
Demonstrated ability to create SSRS reports and work with SSRS SSIS, SSRS SSAS.
Expertise in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI is necessary.
Familiarity with Swift and Swift language is beneficial.
Experience in Shell Scripting and PowerShell Scripting is expected.
Knowledge of Visual Basic (VB), Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Visual Basic Script, and Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET) is required.
Must have experience with MySQL, PL/SQL, SQL PL/SQL.
Ability to write and optimize SQL Queries, SQL Reporting, and SQL Tuning.
Proficient in T-SQL - Transact-SQL, SSAS - SQL Server Analysis Services, SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services.
