Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Cloud Networking Expert

Client: Leading Banking Institution
Location: Onsite in Las Vegas, NV


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.

  • Use Terraform and Ansible to build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.

  • Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS) ensuring resilience, performance, and security.

  • Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking components such as VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, CloudWAN, routing, and security groups.

  • Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK Stack.

  • Leverage Karpenter for optimizing Kubernetes workloads and auto-scaling strategies.

  • Manage and optimize cloud-native databases and services including Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS-SQL.

  • Assist with cloud migration projects and refactor existing infrastructure from CloudFormation to Terraform.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud security, performance, and cost efficiency.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.

  • Proven track record in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).

  • Deep expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS).

  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking architectures, including hybrid connectivity.

  • Solid background with cloud-native services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, MSK, and others.

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and SolarWinds.

  • Practical experience with Karpenter for workload auto-scaling.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Kubernetes, networking, and distributed systems.

  • Bonus: Experience with Backstage.io.
