Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong technical expertise in Java-based applications and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, driving product vision, strategy, and execution in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:

Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.

Gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into technical requirements.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams (Java developers and AWS engineers) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Write clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a well-organized product backlog.

Lead sprint planning, reviews, and backlog refinement sessions.

Work with stakeholders across different teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Actively manage risks and dependencies, ensuring timely product delivery.

Analyze and report on product performance and suggest improvements.

Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and performant using Java and AWS best practices.

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Strong understanding of Java application development and microservices architecture.

Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.).

Ability to translate complex technical topics into business-friendly language.

Experience with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer) is a plus.

Background in software development or systems architecture.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in cloud migration projects is an advantage.
