Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled contractor to support internal-facing reporting and development initiatives. This role will focus on building and maintaining dashboards, managing data workflows, and supporting CI/CD and version control processes using MicroStrategy, Redshift SQL, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
* Collaborate with Strategic Operations team and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
* Design and develop MicroStrategy dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
* Write and optimize Redshift SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
* Support CI/CD workflows using Bamboo for automated testing and deployment.
* Manage code repositories and version control using Bitbucket.
* Document technical processes, data flows, and deployment procedures.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
* Strong experience with MicroStrategy development and administration.
* Proficiency in Redshift SQL and data modeling.
* Familiarity with Bamboo for CI/CD automation.
* Experience with Bitbucket for source control and collaboration.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, or other analytical field
* Functional experience in hospitality
* End-to-end understanding of the data flow process (from ingestion to consumption layer)
* Solid working experience with surrounding and supporting disciplines (data quality, data operations, data modelling, BI/Data WH/Data Lake)
* Experience using R, Python or other statistical analysis & data mining tools is a plus
* Experience with process improvement (Six-Sigma) is a plus
* Familiarity with Agile Project Management is preferred.
