Job Title: Enterprise Architect 3
Location: Onsite - Austin, TX 78701
Job Type: Long-term Contract (with potential extension)
Job Description
- Translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs with interlocked modeling for very large complex technical solutions.
- Analyze customer service requirements and design service solutions to meet those objectives.
- Use expertise to construct specific and detailed solutions that encompass process and technology needs, related scope documents, risk profiles, and corresponding financials.
- Maintain and utilize detailed industry and internal services knowledge in the construction of industryleading services solutions, including expert working-level knowledge of the processes, technologies, and people components involved in the services arena.
- Constructs risk assessments and corresponding remediation plans relative to complex service proposals.
- Composes detailed and summary system and workflow documents that specify processes, technology, staffing, and project management involved in solutions.
- As needed, provide a "trusted expert advisor" role as a Subject Matter Expert for technical services, to both internal and external customers, ranging from formal advice to internal and external customer presentations.
- Follow all organizational Standard Operating Procedures related to system modeling, approvals and reviews, and all other associated workflow and deliverables.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in higher education, financial, or government systems, working with relational and non-relational databases, multiple, interconnected third-party and custom applications, and implementing best practices in data and systems architecture.
Required Skills:
- Experience in data mapping, data integration, and ETL processes in relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience working with sensitive data in higher education, financial, or government sectors.
- Experience working with multiple, interconnected third-party and custom applications.
- Proven ability to work on projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging stakeholders.
- Ability to implement data governance frameworks and ensure data quality.
- Experience developing requirements and documentation for IT and business solutions that will meet program and user needs.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with business analysts, developers, and data engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with vendors to integrate new third-party solutions with existing technology.
