Description
We are seeking a Technical Engineering Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives within our datacenter infrastructure portfolio. This role requires a highly engaged, technically fluent, and execution-focused individual who can drive programs forward-not just track them.
You'll be responsible for managing programs that span systems, networking, hardware, and operations-ensuring alignment across teams, surfacing risks early, and delivering results. This is a full-contact role: we're looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and brings a structured program management toolkit to every challenge.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end program execution across data center infrastructure, including systems integration, hardware qualification, and deployment readiness.
Apply formal program management methodologies to manage scope, schedule, resources, and quality across multiple workstreams.
Deliver clear, concise status reporting using the Progress, Plans, Problems (3Ps) framework, including executive summaries and actionable insights.
Identify blockers and propose solutions using the Iron Triangle (scope, schedule, resources, quality) to guide trade-offs and decision-making.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure technical alignment and program momentum.
Maintain a high level of engagement-this is not a passive coordination role. You will be expected to drive clarity, accountability, and execution.
Skills
Program management, Datacenter, Jira, project planning, project development, Project management, Leadership communication
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications
8+ years of program management experience, with at least 3 years in datacenter, infrastructure, or systems environments.
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs with minimal oversight.
Strong command of program management tools and frameworks (e.g., RAID logs, RACI, Agile/Waterfall hybrids, dependency mapping).
Excellent communication skills, including executive-level reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Technically fluent-able to engage with engineers and operations teams on infrastructure, systems, and networking topics.
Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure to complexity.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification.
Experience in hyperscale or cloud-scale data center environments.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar.
