    Project Analyst (Financials)

    Responsibilities:

    Assist with project financial open/close processes including labor recovery, accruals and timely closure of the projects upon completion. 

    • Create & submit Purchase Requisitions for PM approved work as it arises, partnering with Procurement Team.
    • Administer prompt Goods Receipts for all work as completed to ensure payments processed with no delay.
    • Perform monthly reconciliation of actuals in various systems of record (SAP/Ariba/Planview) & balances to the project tracker, identifying any variances to expectations to continually inform/improve forecast accuracy
    • Create & review capital expenditure sheets within 30 days after project is complete – in line with Capital Team Guidelines with partnership of the Project Lead. (Cap Policy requires submission NLT 60 days of Go Live)
    • Kick off/document the timely, closure of projects: release/close outstanding PO’s & various cost collectors (IO’s & WBS’s)
    • Inspect &/or resolve issues with: Accounts Payable Team for IR’s (Invoice Receipt) posted in Esker/SAP or other various posting discrepancies
    • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
    • Attend meetings to discuss current and upcoming projects
    • Tracking resources and charges within respective project planning systems
    • Creating PRs and GRs as needed for the procurement activities
    • Tracking charges in SAP
    • Closing projects and preparing asset set ups or disposal documentation

    Skills Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management preferred
    • 5 years of Finance or Accounting related experience
    • Must have EXCELLENT written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Accounting Software
    • Prefer SAP experience to manage project financials
    • Proactive team player; must be accountable, responsible, and organized
    • Problem solver with aptitude to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail with outstanding multitasking and organizational skills
    • Must be highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Pivot Tables
