Backend Java API Developer

Role: Senior Back-End Java Developer w Mongo & Kafka

- 12-month contract

Project:

This team is responsible for recreating the bones of the rewards & benefits platform for WF. This team is implementing technology that will be seen my external customers while on the app. Previously, the rewards & benefits platform was managed through a third party. This contractor will be responsible for creating the bones of the new platform in-house. This team moves at a quick pace and has deadlines that are expected to be completed at 10x delivery speed.

Candidates on Visas?:

- W2 or H1B

- has no funding for sponsorships

Day to day:

This contractor will be spending at least 80% of their day coding through one of the various programs listed below. The remainder of their day will be learning from lead engineers, participating in sprint reviews, agile methodology team meetings, etc. This person will not be acting as a leader, more technical IC type of role.

Must have: java, REST APIs, Mongo, Kafka and batch jobs

Nice to have:

- previous Randstad/Wells Fargo experience

- Security and Authentication (OAuth 2.0 authentication)

- Design patterns

- Security and Authentication (OAuth 2.0 authentication)

- Google Cloud Platform/Azure Public cloud

- Kubernetes and docker - Container Orchestration

- E2E Solutioning and Architecture

- CI/CD orchestration tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions, uDeploy, unit, TestNG, Test Driven Development (TDD)

- Behavioral Driven Development (BDD): Cucumber/Gherkin
