Job Details

Job Summary The Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician provides 24x7x365 continuous support and monitoring of Client business and network computer systems, infrastructure services, customer service support, data center infrastructure, enterprise scheduling, and after-hours service desk calls. This role is essential and requires response regardless of weather or disaster conditions. NOC acts as the central hub during system maintenance and outages, coordinating with various departments and ensuring minimal disruption to business-critical processes. Technicians serve as the first point of contact for IT incidents during non-working hours, including holidays and weekends. The role demands flexibility, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to ensure service excellence and maintain productivity across the organization. The working environment can be high-stress, and technicians may be required to work alone for extended shifts. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform various manual tasks. Key Responsibilities Monitor and support corporate and operational computer systems (hardware, software, CPU, file systems). Monitor and restart file system backups. Support problem resolution for batch processing. Monitor and support SAP applications: SAP-CIS, SAP-FIS, SAP-HR, SAP-WMS, SAP-AMI. Monitor telecom infrastructure. Answer third-party vendor calls and escalate to support teams. Answer EIT support line (2020) during after hours, weekends, and holidays. Monitor data center environments at Main Office, EMC, and TLC. Document and escalate issues to support teams. Coordinate with Production Control and Support Teams for critical alerts. Support and coordinate scheduled outages. Compile and distribute daily Morning Report. Compile and distribute Weekly Report. Maintain updated NOC procedures. Maintain updated call duty rosters for support teams. Maintain 24x7x365 coverage. Required Qualifications Ability to work in high-stress environments and remain at desk for extended periods. Willingness to work after hours with minimal notice, including call duty. Ability to travel for training and business-related events. Manual dexterity and ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds, sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Education: Bachelors Degree
