Title: PBM Program Director
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates must reside in Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Florida, or Texas.)

Overview:
Work with a leading healthcare organization as a PBM Program Director to lead a critical, large-scale enterprise-wide initiative. This role is at the forefront of modernizing the company s pharmacy benefits management strategy, which may include a significant PBM vendor change and insourcing of key functions. You will act as an "Uber program manager," overseeing multiple workstreams, driving strategic objectives, and ensuring alignment with senior leadership. Lead and manage a large-scale PBM implementation program with enterprise-wide impact.
Partner directly with the implementation partner's senior director and program director to guide overall program work on the business side.
Organize and oversee work, ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Work closely with and provide coaching and assignments to multiple project managers supporting the program.
Collaborate extensively with senior leadership, synthesizing complex information and conveying it effectively for decision-making and action.
Oversee IT deliverables, providing guidance to IT-focused Project Managers, and ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
Manage program budget, ensuring adherence, conveying budget impacts, and supporting decisions related to financial changes.
Identify and address escalations, ensure team alignment, and maintain commitment to deliverables and timelines.
Monitor the broader program picture, understanding how individual workstreams connect and impact overall delivery.
Required Qualifications:
10-15+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on leading large-scale implementations.
Required PBM experience, either from an insurance payer side or directly from a PBM.
Proven experience leading large-scale IT implementations.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize large amounts of information and communicate complex ideas to executive leadership.
Experience with programs involving significant budgetary responsibilities (comfort with managing budgets in the $50-60 million range).
Bachelor's degree or an additional four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Strong situational awareness and communication skills.
