Description of Project
The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), is seeking one full-time Project Manager to work in the Fiscal and Administrative Services (FAS) division on various projects, mainly the Electronic Document Management Sytsem (EDMS).
At a high level, the resource will:
- Provide leadership and guidance for projects
- Provide strategic vision and thinking with focus on outcomes
- Create clear and attainable project objectives
- Create clear and attainable project requirements
- Manage project constraints of cost, time, and scope
- Form close links with team members and stakeholders
The work is expected to be done as Hybrid; partially remote/partially in person. The location for on-site work will be 445 Minnesota Street, Saint Paul, MN 55101 with at least three days in the office each week.
Project Schedule
- Anticipated Project Start Date: September 29, 2025 or when a Work Order Contract is fully executed.
- Anticipated End Date: September 28, 2027

Desired Skills
- Five (5) years of experience in an IT Project Management role
- Two (2) engagements lasting more than six months in an IT Project Manager role
- Demonstrable leadership ability
- PMP certification
