Job Details

Location

  • Hybrid: Camas, WA or Plano, TX
  • On-site first 90 days, then up to 75 remote days/year
  • Preference for Plano location

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect scalable enterprise data solutions using Azure cloud technologies
  • Design & build data pipelines, dashboards, APIs, and analytics tools
  • Lead migration of reporting platforms to Power BI
  • Develop semantic data models for reporting (Power BI/Tableau/Microsoft Fabric)
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver outcomes

Must-Have Experience

  • 10+ years of T-SQL (hands-on query optimization, stored procedures)
  • 4+ years with Azure Synapse (Serverless Pool)
  • Deep knowledge of OLTP, OLAP, DW, NoSQL, and Azure data services
  • Proven architecture leadership across Azure environments
  • Strong Power BI development experience
  • Skilled communicator with business acumen

Education

  • Bachelor's in math, computer science, engineering, finance, statistics, or related field

Preferred Tools & Technologies

  • Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Event Hubs, Databricks
  • Python, Scala, ADF (Azure Data Factory), Synapse
  • DevOps & CI/CD familiarity

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
