Job Details

Job Description :

  • Should have overall experience of 8+ years in Pega with experience on the below
  • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Pega platform environments including application servers, databases, and other related infrastructure components.
  • Deployment Management: Manage the deployment process for Pega applications across development, testing, and production environments. Ensure smooth deployment and rollback procedures are in place. Experience defining node classifications on the environment needed
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Implement performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal performance of Pega applications
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security best practices for Pega applications. Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for Pega applications and associated data. Test backup and recovery processes regularly to ensure data integrity
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills in - Pega, Cluster management and container management
  • Strong knowledge in Pega Admin Studio and ability to help on support activities
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Provide support for troubleshooting Pega application issues. Work with development teams to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Patch and Upgrade Management: Manage patching and upgrading of Pega platform and associated components. Stay up-to-date with the latest Pega releases and recommend upgrades as necessary
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams, system architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Pega Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Pega platform architecture and components.
  • Experience with Pega deployment, configuration, and administration
  • Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies and application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, JBoss)
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
