Job Title: Sr. Microsoft Power Platform Developer
Location: Lansing, MI (Onsite/Hybrid as required)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our team in Lansing, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications across network, client-server, and web environments. You will play a key part in new feature development, system upgrades, application integration, and overall system support.

You will collaborate with other Agency Services teams and DTMB enterprise teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions using Microsoft technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power Portals

  • Perform system testing, upgrades, and patch-related verifications

  • Write, review, and maintain well-documented, scalable code

  • Work with APIs (REST, SOAP) and data transfer formats like JSON and XML

  • Execute application integrations with external systems and databases

  • Manage source control and versioning of software code

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and production defects


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform development including Dynamics 365 and Power Portals

  • Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming, XML/SOAP, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL

  • Proven experience in application and database development methodologies

  • Solid understanding of web-based and object-oriented application design techniques

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to create comprehensive documentation and written instructions
