Job Details

A strategic thinker with strong technical writing expertise and the ability to translate complex IT concepts into clear, compelling, and user-friendly documentation. This role requires leveraging data and subject-matter knowledge to create content that supports IT initiatives, enhances customer understanding, and positions our brand as a trusted technology partner.

         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and edit proposals, technical manuals, system documentation, and end-user guides.

         Create, revise, and update technical content, including architecture overviews, process workflows, configuration steps, troubleshooting guides, and compliance matrices.

         Format documents for consistency, professionalism, and accessibility, ensuring alignment with company branding and technical style guidelines.

         Develop supporting collateral such as datasheets, technical brochures, white papers, and case studies to communicate IT solutions and value propositions.

         Apply advanced document styling, formatting, and layout techniques in Word and other authoring tools to enhance usability and readability.

         Review and proofread all content for accuracy, technical precision, grammar, and clarity.

         Manage version control, maintain document repositories, and update templates to ensure efficient documentation workflows.

         Ensure all materials meet established standards for tone, style, security, and compliance.

         Support other departments by creating and editing reports, presentations, release notes, and client communications as required.

 

Qualified Candidates will meet the following expectations:

         Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field; or a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Technical Writing or a similar role.

         Demonstrated experience as a technical writer, with expertise in developing proposals, business/marketing materials, and technical documentation.

         Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including templates, styles, formatting, and layout design.

         Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with keen attention to accuracy and detail.

         Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

         Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), documentation tools, and version control practices.

         Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and technical teams.

         Self-motivated, assertive, and creative, with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

         Experience writing proposals for government agencies or enterprise-level clients.

         Comfortable with technical terminology, IT concepts, and industry-specific jargon, proficient in Canva or similar design tool is a plus
