Job Description:
About this Position / Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for ERP systems (e.g., Banner, Salesforce, Peoplesoft, Workday)
  • Align ERP initiatives with university priorities, operational needs, and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with administrative departments (Finance, HR, Registrar, Procurement) to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and product features.

Project Management

  • Lead ERP-related projects including upgrades, module implementations, and integrations.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

 

System Optimization

  • Monitor system performance, user adoption, and data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhanced reporting.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure ERP systems comply with university policies and external regulations (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA, financial reporting standards).
  • Support audits, data governance initiatives, and risk management efforts.

Vendor & Technology Management

  • Manage relationships with ERP vendors and consultants.
  • Evaluate new technologies and modules to enhance ERP capabilities.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in ERP product management, business systems analysis, or enterprise application support.
  • Strong understanding of ERP platforms (e.g., Banner, Salesforce, Peoplesoft, Workday) and university administrative processes.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, PMP, Jira).
  • PMP Certification
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in higher education or public sector ERP environments.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and APIs.
  • Knowledge of business process mapping and change management.
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design in enterprise systems.
