Responsibilities and Impact: - Lead and mentor a team of cloud security engineers while developing comprehensive security strategies across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments
- Design and implement enterprise-wide cloud security architectures, including zero-trust frameworks, identity and access management solutions, and automated security controls
- Drive security automation initiatives and DevSecOps practices, integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, rapid deployment cycles
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to establish security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance across global operations
- Oversee incident response activities and security monitoring, leading forensic investigations and implementing preventive measures to strengthen our security posture
- Champion security awareness and best practices organization-wide, serving as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on emerging cloud security threats and technologies
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $230,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field with 8+ years of progressive experience in cloud security engineering and team leadership
- Proven expertise with cloud security services and tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Security Command Center, along with SIEM platforms like Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel
- Strong background in identity and access management solutions including Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, and multi-factor authentication systems
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi, and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams, with excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to business stakeholders
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate
Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field with experience in financial services or regulated industries
- Expertise with security automation and orchestration platforms such as Phantom, Demisto, or custom-built solutions using Python or PowerShell
- Experience with compliance frameworks including SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, and financial industry regulations, along with security assessment methodologies
- Background in threat hunting, digital forensics, and advanced persistent threat (APT) analysis using tools like CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, or similar endpoint detection platforms
