Java Developer with IAM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer with 7 to 8 years of experience in enterprise application development, including exposure to Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. The ideal candidate will work on the design, development, and integration of secure and scalable Java-based applications, while also contributing to IAM-related functionalities such as authentication, authorization, and user provisioning. This is an excellent opportunity for a Java developer looking to deepen their experience in the growing IAM and cybersecurity space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java applications and backend services.
• Collaborate with IAM and security teams to integrate applications with IAM platforms.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using IAM protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Develop APIs and microservices to support user identity, access control, and role management features.
• Support identity lifecycle processes such as provisioning, de-provisioning, and self-service access.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and maintain documentation according to best practices.
• Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and efficient deployments.
• Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of IAM-related issues in production environments.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  Experience:
• 5 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
• At least 1 2 years of hands-on experience or exposure to IAM concepts or tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

1. Technical Skills:

• Java Technologies: Core Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security), Hibernate/JPA
• Security Protocols: Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and LDAP.
• Web Services: RESTful APIs, SOAP
• Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, JIRA
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar
• IAM Exposure: Integration with IAM platforms such as Okta, Saviynt, Azure AD, or SailPoint is a plus.

1. Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing or integrating applications with SSO, MFA, or user role-based access controls.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure coding principles.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
