Job Details
- Extensive hands-on experience with Data Center Network Routing and Switching technologies, protocols such as TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
- Proficient in firewall concepts, configuration, and management of firewalls, including Palo Alto and Checkpoint.
- Expertise in troubleshooting Data Center and Enterprise Wired/Wireless network hardware platforms (e.g., Nexus, Cisco Wi-Fi, Arista Wi-Fi) and architectures.
- Skilled in configuring, troubleshooting, and managing network load balancers such as F5 and Netscaler.
- Strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnetting, IP Address Management, DNS concepts, and troubleshooting.
- Competent in network voice infrastructure, including Cisco Unified Communication troubleshooting and management.
- Solid understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and troubleshooting.
- Experience collaborating with Service Provider Teams to resolve WAN circuit faults and BGP issues.
- Proven ability to work with partner support teams, including TAC support teams of principal vendors like Cisco and Palo Alto.
- Act as a technical escalation point for Level 1 NOC issues.
- Execute Method of Procedure (MoP) for changes or issue troubleshooting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate network issues effectively.
- Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting tools and monitoring platforms.
- Maintain composure under pressure while demonstrating a high sense of urgency.
- Team-oriented, quick learner, and adaptable to changes.
- Preferred industry-standard certifications (e.g., CCNP).
- 5-7 years of experience in Network Operations teams
