Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Staff Engineer to join our Platform WiFi MAC Software team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WiFi MAC software for our next-generation wireless products, with a focus on IEEE WiFi standards, MAC layer protocols, and WiFi (802.11 ax/be) technology. Your expertise in platform development using Linux, C, C++ and kernel level programming, strong coding skills will be crucial to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- WiFi MAC Software Development: Design, implement, and maintain WiFi MAC layer software for our wireless products, ensuring compliance with IEEE WiFi standards and specifications, with a particular focus on WiFi (802.11ax/be).
- Wireless Protocols: Experience in implementing protocols such as TDMA,OFDMA, MIMO
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in WiFi MAC software development, with a strong understanding of IEEE WiFi standards and protocols.
- Expertise in WiFi (802.11ax/be) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Linux kernel development and Embedded Programming.
- Strong programming skills in Linux and C.
- Deep understanding of MAC protocols (11ac/11ax/11be); WiFi expertise preferred.
- Deep expertise in bare-metal, embedded, real-time, C programming.
- Deep expertise in developing embedded SW on multi-core, multi-chipset platforms.
- Deep expertise of HW register programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
