Job Details

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is seeking a qualified Program Manager.

The contractor will work with the Division of Teaching and Learning to ensure local education agencies (LEAs) submit accurate and timely data via the annual Faculty and Staff Data Collection. Specifically, the Program Manager will coordinate technical assistance efforts, monitor collection implementation, and develop processes for ensuring accuracy and compliance as necessary. The Program Manager must have experience working in D.C. government, managing census-level educator workforce data collections, and providing technical assistance to DC LEAs.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop guidance, resources, and technical assistance to ensure LEAs submit accurate and timely data during OSSE s school year 2025-26 Faculty and Staff Data Collection
Coordinate and monitor Division responses to LEA support requests related to Faculty and Staff Data Collection data and systems
Collaborate across the Division and with other Divisions within OSSE, including Data, Assessment and Research (DAR) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) to ensure accurate and timely data submissions during the 2025-26 Faculty and Staff Data Collection
Provide progress reports to Division leadership on a regular and as-needed basis to ensure LEAs receive sufficient support and guidance to meet stated 2025-26 Faculty and Staff Data Collectiondeadlines
Analyze and interpret data submitted via the 2025-26 Faculty and Staff Data Collection to support the public reporting of trends and patterns related to the statewide educator workforce landscape
