Opportunity Overview:
iSphere is seeking a Cisco Meraki Network Specialist to join a high-impact support team handling enterprise-scale, distributed networks. This is a remote, long-term opportunity where you ll serve as a Level 3 escalation point, providing expert troubleshooting, configuration, and operational support for Cisco Meraki environments. If you're highly experienced with Meraki MX, MS, and MR series devices, thrive in fast-paced settings, and excel at clear communication, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Level 3 escalation lead for Meraki network support incidents

  • Manage advanced troubleshooting for Meraki MX firewalls, MS switches, and MR access points

  • Configure and administer VPNs, VLANs, and Layer 3 routing

  • Maintain optimal network performance and reliability across multiple remote sites

  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to resolve hardware/software issues

  • Support point-of-sale (POS) and other critical systems reliant on Meraki infrastructure

  • Monitor network health and usage via Meraki dashboard and other monitoring tools

  • Document tickets, resolutions, and system changes with precision

  • Analyze incident trends and recommend preventative improvements

Required Technical Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of Cisco Meraki hardware and dashboard administration (MX, MS, MR series)

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, VPN, VLAN, IP addressing, and Layer 3 routing

  • Familiarity with remote access tools, endpoint support, and ticketing systems

  • Experience with Windows environments, Active Directory, and Exchange

  • General knowledge of telephony, wireless, and mobile network support

Professional Experience:

  • 3+ years in IT/network support roles

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Cisco Meraki support and deployment

  • Background in field service, field engineering, or remote enterprise support highly preferred

  • Experience supporting retail, distributed, or multi-location enterprise environments

Education & Certifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA or Meraki-specific credentials are a strong plus
