What You'll Do
- Define and refine future concepts for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in architecture analysis and review preliminary results before delivery.
- Assess MDS threats, capability gaps, and develop innovative system mitigations and evolutions.
- Support high-performance computing (HPC) analysis for advanced M&S efforts.
- Develop analysis plans, execute simulations, analyze results, and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership.
- Education & Experience:Master's degree in STEM with 12+ years in missile defense or large DoD programs.
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Technical Expertise:Extensive experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures.
- Deep understanding of current MDS architecture and future concepts.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience with advanced algorithms for M&S of MDS architectures.
- Familiarity with directed and kinetic energy weapons and future concepts.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, HPC environments, and/or MBSE.
- Experience in multidisciplinary analysis and optimization.
- Specialized knowledge in threat characterization, RF sensing/signatures, and EO/IR sensing/signatures.
- Proven ability to coauthor reports and contribute to MDS studies and Congressional responses.
- Understanding of cyber gaps, mitigations, and future cyber architecture development.
- Ability to collaborate with DoD, Combatant Commands, and industry experts.
- Work on mission-critical projects shaping the future of missile defense.
