Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of data-driven digital products within the food and food processing industry. This long-term contract position requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business and technology teams to create impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in agile environments and a strong ability to translate business needs into actionable product features.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product functionalities based on business objectives and customer needs.
Oversee the full product lifecycle, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product reviews to maintain workflow efficiency.
Develop and manage a product roadmap informed by market trends, user feedback, and business requirements.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused digital solutions.
Create and present data visualizations to communicate product performance and adoption metrics.
Promote agile best practices and mentor team members in improving product development processes.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring that deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
Utilize knowledge of digital architecture to design competitive and scalable solutions.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in agile and scrum environments, with expertise in leading scrum meetings and managing product backlogs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including a solid understanding of cloud architecture and data workflows.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and solutions to senior stakeholders.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in making data-driven decisions.
Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data mapping, and understanding data lineage.
Background in warehouse, transportation, logistics, or similar operational industries.
Proficiency in using tools like Atlassian Jira for backlog grooming and bug tracking.
Deep knowledge of product management principles and agile methodologies.
