Job Title: SAP ABAP Architect

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP ABAP Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex SAP solutions across modules. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in ABAP and SAP integration technologies and will play a key role in defining the technical architecture and development standards for enterprise-wide SAP projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance SAP technical architecture across multiple modules and systems.
  • Define and enforce ABAP development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
  • Lead end-to-end technical design and code review for ABAP developments including reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, forms, and workflows (RICEF/W).
  • Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership to the development team, mentor junior developers, and ensure quality and timely delivery of code.
  • Architect complex integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, OData services, BTEs, BADIs, and user exits.
  • Design and guide the implementation of SAP Fiori apps, CDS views, and SAP Gateway services where applicable.
  • Provide support for SAP system upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
  • Monitor and improve system performance by optimizing ABAP code and resolving system issues.
Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP, including classical and object-oriented programming.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect in large-scale SAP implementations.
  • Expertise in RICEF development, performance tuning, and debugging.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ALE/IDOC, BAPI, BADI, OData, CDS Views, and SAP Gateway.
  • Good knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, HCM, or PP.
  • Strong understanding of S/4HANA and SAP Fiori/UI5 architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
