Job Title: Consent Decree Analyst

Overview
The Consent Decree Analyst will serve as a key liaison in overseeing compliance with the Rhode Island Consent Decree. This role involves tracking outcomes, ensuring adherence to Department of Justice (DOJ) requirements, and coordinating with state agencies and providers to fulfill all reporting and compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret Consent Decrees to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local statutes.

  • Monitor and track the status of Consent Decree implementation across programs.

  • Ensure the Developmental Disabilities program meets all compliance and performance requirements outlined in the Consent Decree.

  • Participate in and contribute to multiple daily meetings with stakeholders, including state agencies, providers, and the DOJ.

  • Compile, analyze, and present compliance reports to relevant authorities.

Requirements

  • Strong background in healthcare policy.

  • Proven experience managing budgets and resource allocations.

  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-state agencies, providers, and federal oversight bodies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Developmental Disabilities services.

  • Working knowledge of Medicaid policies and procedures.
