Job Details

Responsibilities include:

1. Design for new projects and minor changes:
- To control and verify design requirements
- Design and development planning with schedule
- Design review
- Drawing and release
- Design verification by test, calculation, or other methods
- Confirmation of design validation
2. Design changes required by other departments, customers, and suppliers.
3. Design study for quality problems and cost down for production.
4. Assist in correction of design or function related to production and/or
quality problems with respect to company products.
5. Support purchasing with guiding suppliers to meet/exceed company requirements.

Qualifications:

1. BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Ability to use Pro/Engineer preferred but other 3D design software is acceptable
3. Computer skills to include MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-Outlook Express, etc.
4. Experience in design concepts (i.e. material selection, stress calculations, etc.).
