Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the end-to-end Customer Migration workstream for transitioning clients from a legacy ACH payment platform (PEP+) to our new Enterprise Payments Platform (EPP). This critical role will serve as the central point of coordination across cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless, timely, and risk-mitigated client migration experience.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in managing payment transformation initiatives, client onboarding or migration projects in a banking or financial services environment, and possesses exceptional stakeholder management, planning, and execution skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Own and drive the overall migration plan and schedule for transitioning clients from PEP+ to EPP.
- Client Engagement: Lead external client communications, engagement strategies, and readiness assessments.
- Data Migration Coordination: Partner with data, operations, and technology teams to oversee and validate all client data migration activities.
- Training Management: Design and deliver a comprehensive training plan for both internal teams (Operations, Client Services) and external clients, ensuring all users are fully prepared pre-migration.
- Communications: Develop and manage the overall communication strategy, including migration notices, training collateral, FAQs, and status updates.
- Go-Live Planning : Coordinate dry runs, cutover plans, and command center activities to support a smooth go-live.
- Post Go-Live Support: Manage hypercare activities, issue tracking, and client feedback collection during stabilization.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular updates to executive sponsors and senior leadership, highlighting risks, mitigation strategies, and progress milestones.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in project or program management, with a focus on client migrations, onboarding, or payment platform implementations.
- Strong knowledge of ACH payment processing, preferably with experience in PEP+ and/or modern enterprise payment platforms (EPP).
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in regulated financial environments.
- Experience in building client communications, training documentation, and end-to-end migration strategies.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
