Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare civil/site design documents including grading, stormwater management, utilities, and septic/utility systems.
- Manage zoning, entitlement, and regulatory permitting processes with local and state agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and environmental standards.
- Provide construction phase services such as site inspections, construction engineering inspection (CEI), shop drawing review, and project close-out.
- Contribute to land planning, due diligence, feasibility studies, and environmental review efforts.
- Deliver cost-effective solutions that perform well during construction and remain durable and low-maintenance for long-term use.
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, and coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree a plus.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred, or ability to obtain licensure in Florida/Georgia.
- 3-8+ years of experience in site/land development, stormwater design, utility or septic design, regulatory permitting, and construction inspection.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and stormwater design software; familiarity with environmental and utility engineering tools.
- Strong understanding of local and state regulatory processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
