Description As an Embedded Software Developer, you will work on implementing existing and new features for Apple products including Apple Pay. In this role you will have an impact on new Payment, Transit and Access solutions and new verticals around the planet.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 and $302,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Description As an Embedded Software Developer, you will work on implementing existing and new features for Apple products including Apple Pay. In this role you will have an impact on new Payment, Transit and Access solutions and new verticals around the planet.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Secure Element and JavaCard and related technologies.
- Relevant knowledge of payment protocols and Global Platform functionalities.
- Proven experience with Access/Transit and Identity applications.
- Meaningful experience with interacting with TSM for JavaCard applet provisioning.
- Good understanding of various cryptographic algorithms ( RSA, DES, AES, SHA256, etc.).
- Familiarity with various security defense mechanisms in SE.
- Knowledge of ISO14443 application layer and Global Platform/EMV standards.
- Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with object-oriented languages, such as C++, Java or Python.
