Job Details
Role: Senior Azure infrastructure Engineer.
Client: Oil & GAS (Preferred but not a Mandate)
Houston, TX
ONSITE
Duration: 6+ Months.
Experience Needed: 10+ Years.
General Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Azure infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, databases, identity, monitoring, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Architect and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD), DNS, IIS, Group Policy, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Oversee administration of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Endpoint Manager (Intune).
- Lead large-scale infrastructure and migration projects; manage implementation plans, resource allocation, and post-deployment optimization.
- Develop and implement advanced automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) strategies using tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure Bicep.
- Establish and maintain enterprise-level backup, failover, and disaster recovery strategies across hybrid environments.
- Conduct security assessments and enforce hardening standards in Azure and M365
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Preferred)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (Preferred)
