Software Development Engineer/Architect with AAA experience

Duration: 6 months
Location: Philadelphia, PA on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, work remote Monday and Friday.

Pay Rate: $75 - $85/hr on W2


Responsibilities/Job Duties/Job Description/Qualifications:

  • AAA Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of AAA systems and processes for our service provider environment. Develop robust authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure secure access control across multi-vendor network infrastructures.
  • Multi-Vendor Integration: Work closely with various vendors to integrate their products and services seamlessly into our network environment. Evaluate different vendor solutions, provide technical expertise, and develop integration strategies to ensure interoperability.
  • Security and Compliance Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on security and cybersecurity compliance. Define and enforce compliance standards and best practices, ensuring that all devices and systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Network Device Specification: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications for network devices and systems. Ensure that these devices adhere to security standards and have the necessary AAA mechanisms in place.
  • Scripting and Automation: Utilize coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or Perl to develop custom scripts and automation tools. Enhance the efficiency of AAA processes and integrate them into existing network automation frameworks using bash/ansible.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for AAA-related issues. Collaborate with other teams to investigate and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring high availability and reliability of network services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to AAA, multi-vendor integration, and security. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our network's security posture and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum X years of hands-on experience in AAA design and implementation within a service provider environment.
  • Proficient in Java, JavaScript, or Perl programming languages for developing custom solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of security and cybersecurity compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Experience defining device specifications for various network infrastructures and ensuring compliance.
  • In-depth understanding of multi-vendor integration challenges and solutions.
  • Scripting and automation skills using bash/ansible or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
