Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Nearshore Canada (Remote)

Terraform (Infrastructure as Code): module development, basic state management

Kubernetes basics: kubectl, pod troubleshooting, YAML manifests
Ansible: playbook development, role management, automation workflows
AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3 (hands-on operational experience)
Additional Skills:
Secret management: basic operations and secret retrieval
Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL, or similar
Git workflows: branching strategies, merge conflict resolution
Work Environment
Team: Elite platform engineering team, Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA)
Primary Activities: Engineering support, GitLab pipeline development, infrastructure requests, operational troubleshooting
Schedule: Nearshore preferred (must have overlap until 2-3pm EST)
Duration: 6 months contract
Work Style: Remote, self-directed, documentation-focused, comfortable with ambiguity
