Job Details
Role: Workspace One SME
Location: San Francisco, CA (3 Days onsite in a week)
Duration: 12+ Months
Responsibilities
- Configure/install/troubleshoot various software issues related to the installation and maintenance of VMware Workspace ONE UEM products.
- Act as a proactive resource for clients by identifying new features and updates of mobile technology and the Workspace ONE platform.
- Provide detailed documentation whenever necessary for customers.
- Provide courteous and prompt support to customers.
- Setup, configure and install new Workspace ONE instances.
- Support existing Workspace ONE customers with troubleshooting, upgrades, and general questions.
- Research, evaluate and recommend new or upgraded hardware/software to ensure proper operation and performance for customers.
- Work with vendors for product enhancement announcements and other issues.
- Utilize basic network skills to help in solving customer UEM issues.
- Identify, access and use resources for troubleshooting and continued education.
Requirements
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) for Digital Workspace or Desktop Mobility.
- 5 years of experience with Workspace ONE UEM.
- 2 years of experience with IDPs like Ping or Okta.
- 2-5 years of experience with Office 365.
- 5 years of system administrator or architect experience with technologies like Windows Server, DHCP, DNS, load balancing, basic networking, proxies, certificate authorities, and VPN.
- 2 years of experience with Unified Access Gateways.
- 2-5 years of experience with VMware Horizon is ideal but not required.
- Strong desktop and server knowledge for troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Workspace ONE Access and VMware Horizon.
