DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Senior Operations Planner (Specialist) to join our team on an upcoming Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) J-3/5/7 Operations and Strategic Support contract based at DISA Headquarters, Fort Meade, MD and MacDill AFB, FL, with flexible telework options. This opportunity involves supporting DISA's J-3/5/7 Directorate, which directs and synchronizes the DISA Network (DISN) to enable Joint Cyberspace Operations. The contractor will contribute to operational planning, strategic initiatives, program assessment, and task order management across four major task areas. Responsibilities include developing cyber operation plans, supporting DISA planning groups, advising senior leaders, delivering key policy documents and assessments, coordinating strategic communications, and supporting governance processes.

This position offers remote work flexibility.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Applies BPR principles to improve mission and business processes.
  • Leads and facilitates workshops to analyze current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conducts impact analyses of proposed changes.
  • Develops "as-is" and "to-be" models using accepted modeling tools.
  • Assists in preparing implementation plans and evaluating performance metrics.
  • May oversee junior analysts and coordinate across departments.
  • Supports DISA J-3/5/7 with development and execution of operational plans.
  • Assists in aligning operations planning with strategic objectives and resourcing efforts.
  • Develops briefings, courses of action, readiness assessments, and after-action reviews.
  • Provides analysis of mission impacts from new policy/guidance.
  • Tracks readiness metrics and planning milestones, and supports J-3/5/7 engagement with the Warfighter.
  • Works across DISA and Combatant Commands to ensure synchronized planning activities.
Qualifications
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
