Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
One of Kforce's clients in the Transportation & Logistics industry seeks an L1 Desktop Technician to install/configure and support technical components related to desktops and laptops including troubleshooting. The contractor will have experience with Windows 11 support and a general understanding of Active Directory. This a fully onsite position in Rapid City, SD and requires some travel within the state.

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree from two-year college or technical school, preferred
* Analytical problem-solving skills
* Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as a team environment
* Desire to learn and grow through personal development, research and testing
* Professional demeanor
* Good organizational skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality while conducting work
* Compliance with all company policies and procedures
* A+ or similar certification preferred but not required
* One to three years of relevant experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
