Position Summary

We re seeking a dynamic Mobile Device Solutions Engineer to lead mobile solutions for the client. You ll collaborate with Engineering, Operations, HR, and Facilities to design mobile strategies that align with the client s tech vision. Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, you ll ensure seamless integration with business goals.

Hiring Manager Notes: Initially, focus on delivering tools to field teams via mobile platforms. Later, shape mobile solutions for internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in enterprise mobility solutions (strategy, security, integration).
  • Experience with MDM/EMM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro).
  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Android.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally (onsite in Nashville).

Key Responsibilities

1. Connect & Collaborate

  • Visit operation centers to gather mobile device/app needs.
  • Document use cases and assess business/technical impacts.
  • Evaluate vendor mobile solutions for strategic fit.
  • Bridge IT and business units to create actionable solutions.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and IT Operations for compatibility and support models.

2. Shape Mobile Strategy

  • Define mobile device architecture and lifecycle standards.
  • Recommend platforms/devices based on enterprise needs.
  • Align with the client s digital transformation goals.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Create user-friendly documentation for mobile onboarding.

3. Vendor Engagement

  • Assess third-party mobile solutions via technical evaluations.
  • Recommend based on usability, scalability, and ROI.

4. Integration

  • Integrate mobile devices with identity, productivity, and asset management systems.
  • Optimize mobile connectivity and performance with IT.
  • Support field teams with real-time tool/data access.
