This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a position supporting a US Government customer at Ramstein AB (Kaiserslautern), Germany. The ISR Systems SME will serve as the on-site expertise for imagery exploitation of US ISR platforms with a focus on enhancing coalition partner ISR capabilities and interoperability.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as an experience-based subject matter expert in imagery exploitation of US ISR platforms, to include strong knowledge of applicable USAF DCGS, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) and NATO standards.
  • Support USAFE-AFAFRICA/A2 in partner nation engagements for the development of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for ISR operations. This includes, but is not limited to FMV, EO/IR, and SAR imagery.
  • Review and advise on ISR/TCPED (Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination) policies, programs, and concepts as they relate to US, NATO, and other partners.
  • Aid in the development of papers, long-range estimates, and briefings on ISR interoperability concepts and programs for the DoD/USMIL.
  • Work with partner nation program managers to continuously improve existing and planned programs. Assist in the technical and procedural aspects of enhancing partner nation ISR Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) capabilities.
  • Fully support all applicable US Government (USG) and Department of Defense (DoD) programs and policies.


What We Are Looking For

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 1 year experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
  • Experience in USAF or USG ISR systems, capabilities and programs.
  • A mission oriented, team focused approach to supporting our customer.
  • The ability to think, operate, and execute autonomously or as part of a small team.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs with the ability to create professional content.
  • Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI


Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • A history supporting military ISR programs in the European and African Areas of Responsibility.
  • Recent experience with European and/or Coalition Partner nations in the role of trainer or advisor.
  • Prior work history in NGA GEOINT, or ISR work with other DoD/USG customers and programs
  • A willingness to continue learning and improving, sometimes in the context of assuming new responsibilities or duties.
  • A desire to teach, coach, and mentor supported individuals and teams.
