Job Details
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a technical background
- Ideal candidate must be residing in any one of the following cities: Mumbai / Pune / Bangalore
- 15+ years of total experience and at least 5 years of presales / Sales engineering management experience in a highly complex, sophisticated environment in a leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of multiple Enterprise industries, particularly the business outcomes, solutions, and technology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, thought leadership, mentorship, and the ability to translate complex architectures into easily understood and consumable solutions are required.
- Experience leading the development of enterprise architectures, cloud environments and application frameworks, Deep skills in one or more of our key go-to-market technology areas.
- Experience in leading large and /or Global Teams with success in driving metrics, development and skills plans for managers and teams at scale.
- 50% travel may be required.
Role Summary-
The Head of Presales India is a senior technical sales leader with broad knowledge of WWT products, solutions, and services. The role holder collaborates with Sales leadership on business growth strategy in India and leads the technical presales engineering and architecture team to create and align technical and business strategies to drive revenue and gross profit growth. Proactively develops and inspires a team of high performing pre-sales systems engineers and architects and continually seeks innovative methods for improving team performance. He/she also engages senior stakeholders of key customers and OEMs, with regular cadence, to enable sales and drive customer loyalty. In addition, the responsibilities include acting as a technical advocate for the value of WWT and the technology and services we offer to our Enterprise customers and WWT sales teams. The candidate must possess broad expertise in infrastructure, application, and cloud architecture.
Job Responsibilities-
- Owns the technical strategy, goals and plans for your team's success and contributes to the organization's overall strategy, plans, and technology direction. Develops innovative methods, metrics, and initiatives for improving organizational performance.
- Develops strong relationships (VP/CxO level) with key customers and OEM partners as a trusted senior sales engineering leader to enable engineering and architectural excellence, innovation, and customer loyalty.
- Advance the business value proposition of WWTs services and technology to customers, partners and the industry through proficient presentation and communication skills.
- Recruit, hire and effectively manage and grow a diverse and talented set of employees.
- Provide technical direction, coaching and mentoring to employees on the team, and others, when necessary to achieve successful short- and long-term outcomes.
- Oversee the presales process and help drive effective communication between sales, Services, and SME teams.
