Job Details
Role Title: Microsoft Azure ETL & Reporting Developer
Location: Hanover, MD (3 days in a week onsite)
Role Description:
- Maintain, modify, and enhance ETL pipelines using Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Design, develop, and optimize new ETL pipelines for importing and transforming data from source systems into the Data Warehouse application.
- Build Azure DevOps pipelines for code deployment and automation of ETL processes.
- Develop and implement workflow automations using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline data and reporting operations.
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server databases, including creating, modifying database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures in lower environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job issues, ensuring data quality and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and document ETL processes.
Required Skills:
- Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics: Advanced (Ability to independently design, develop, and maintain complex ETL pipelines)
- ETL Process Design & Optimization: Advanced (Expertise in building, optimizing, and troubleshooting ETL workflows for data warehousing)
- Azure DevOps (Pipeline Development & Automation): Intermediate (Experience building, configuring, and maintaining deployment pipelines for code and ETL automation)
- Microsoft Power Automate: Intermediate (Ability to develop and implement workflow automations to streamline data and reporting processes)
- Microsoft SQL Server (Database Objects): Advanced (Strong skills in creating, modifying, and managing tables, views, and stored procedures, especially in lower environments)
- ETL Job Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Advanced (Proven ability to proactively monitor, diagnose, and resolve ETL and data pipeline issues)
- Data Quality & Process Efficiency: Intermediate (Understanding and application of best practices for data integrity and process optimization)
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation: Intermediate (Effective communication and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders; ability to document technical processes clearly)
